Commentary:
Basalt has an excellent temperament. His sire, Chapelton Norseman, was Overall Supreme Champion at Perth in February 2000. His grand Sire is Uppermill Bews. The Dam, Glenisla Carnation Rouge N47 is one of our best cows, consistently producing quality offspring.

Basalt was sold to Matson Farms, Cumbria for £2,200gns at Harrison & Hetherington Borderway Market, Carlisle on Friday 23rd May.
