Hallsford Beef: Beef Shorthorn is a traditional native breed, the foundation for so many breeds around the world, producing marbled beef. This intra muscular fat is a key ingredient to taste. The meat is hung for a minimum of 3 weeks and then butchered on farm in our purpose built facility. We strongly believe that animals should not travel the length of the country before slaughter. Your meat is prepared for the oven or freezer and then vacuum packed and labeled. When ready, it is delivered in temperature tested packaging with ice packs on a next day service. We are normally able to despatch within 28 days of order, often a lot sooner.
