Hallsford Pork: We aim to produce the best pork you can buy. In this respect we have chosen only to use rare breeds, principally the Saddleback. We control every step of the process from buying in weaners from selected local small farms, to fattening them at either Hallsford or Dorreyfield Farms. We slaughter locally at Lockerbie and then hang and cut at our own Butchery at Hallsford.
We have carefully created the wide variety of Hallsford Pork products: from an excellent Sunday Roast for two to party barbeque packs for that wonderful summer evening. We are especially proud of our kids produce - tested on our own children and they love it. Your meat is prepared for the oven or freezer and then vacuum packed and labeled. When ready, it is delivered in temperature tested packaging with ice packs on a next day service. We are normally able to despatch within 14 days of order, often a lot sooner.

The Cumberland Sausage Association was set up in October 2005 to progress the application for Protected Geographical Indication status and to promote the quality of traditionally made Cumberland Sausage.
